In today’s show we’re talking about a new initiative between Department of Defense and Medical Transcription Industry Association.  The new initiative will educate military spouses about careers in the Medical Transcription industry.

About our Guest:

Elaine’s medical transcription career spans over 38 years. From 1989 to 1996 she was President/CEO of Tele-Trans Medical Transcription Service, Inc., in San Antonio, Texas. In 1996 Tele-Trans was acquired by a national company and Elaine moved in another direction. From 1998 to 2003 she partnered in STAT Enterprises, Inc., which offered consulting services to the transcription industry. In 2003 Elaine relocated to San Antonio and continued her consulting for both U.S. transcription services and for services in the Philippines and Trinidad.
