Today we are talking about a very difficult topic "Coping with the Death of a Soldier."  My guest today is Rachelle Arroyave, a Marine Corps Widow / Gold Star Wife.  Rachelle has graciously volunteered to come on the show to talk about her story of coping with the death of her Marine.  While many listening in today may find it difficult at times, Rachelle's goal for coming on the show is to share the lesson's that she's learned through this most difficult experience and that through her story she may empower and educate other military spouses regarding survivor death benefits.

Since the taping of this show "A new policy is now in place mandates that a written notification be sent to the spouse if a married servicemember either rejects Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance coverage, elects an amount other than the maximum $400,000 coverage, or names a person other than their spouse or children as the policy's primary beneficiary".
